# Coupons

> Create exclusive discount coupons for your store.

### How does coupon work?

Coupons are a great way to offer discounts to your customers. You can create coupons with a specific discount percentage and minimum order amount. Customers can apply the coupon code at checkout to avail the discount.

### How to create a coupon?

Go to **Dashboard > Store > Coupons > Add New**. You can add a coupon by providing the following information:

* **Coupon Code**: Enter a unique coupon code.
* **Duration:** You can apply either a Permanent or a Temporary duration. If you select Temporary, you will need to specify the end date and time from the calendar.
* **Limit:** You can set a limit on the number of codes that can be used. If you don't want to set a limit, you can select **Unlimited**.
* **Discount (%)**: Enter the discount percentage.
* **Minimum Order Amount**: Enter the minimum order amount for the coupon to be valid.
* **Products:** You can choose to apply the discount to all products or specific products.
  * **All Products:** Select this option to apply the discount to all products.
  * **Specific Products:** Select this option to apply the discount to specific products. You can search for products by name and add them to the list.
