# Gifts

> Provide gifts to your users by having them claim a gift code.

### How does Gifts work?

Create and distribute gift codes for your users. You can create gifts as either Credits or Products, set a limit on the number of codes and to specify expiration dates for them.

### How to create a gift?

Go to **Dashboard > Store > Gifts > Add New**. You can add a gift by providing the following information:

* **Code:** The code that users will use to claim the gift.
* **Type:** The type of gift you want to create. It can be either Credits or Products.
  * **Product:** If you select this type, you will need to select a product from the dropdown list.
  * **Credits:** If you select this type, you will need to specify the credits amount.
* **Duration:** You can apply either a Permanent or a Temporary duration. If you select Temporary, you will need to specify the end date and time from the calendar.
* **Limit:** You can set a limit on the number of codes that can be claimed. If you don't want to set a limit, you can select **Unlimited**.

### How do users claim a gift?

Users can claim a gift by going to **Gift Page (yourwebsite.com/gift)** and entering the gift code in the **Claim Gift** section. If the gift code is valid, the gift will be added to the user's account.
